Alexis Choplain’s SIGNO_ is the final form of a series of experiments and creations that aimed to master an optical phenomenon. Between two specific states of sound and light, this phenomenon forces a stream of water to enter a vibratory state.

This summer, FabLab.iMAL will be closed between July 2nd and 29th. We’ll be open again for our members on Monday July 30th, from 18:30 on.

It's with great sadness that we learn of the sudden passing of Bram Crevits, this 1st April 2018. Bram has been collaborating with iMAL for several years, as a curator for our Showcase exhibitions, and for our two latest international symposiums in 2016 and 2017. These could have never happened without his vision, intelligence, open-mindedness and generosity. A new joint project was underway for 2018. iMAL extends its deepest condolences to his family and friends.

On March 23rd, the team of the iMAL ResurrectionLab project will participate with ZKM and Tate to the Transformation Digital Art 2018 symposium organised by LIMA, Amsterdam. We will present the current progress of our project on born-digital art preservation.
